“My husband and I did the Belleville Food Tour during our recent visit to Paris. Our guide Isabel was so friendly and created a very welcoming environment. We began the tour with a visit to a really interesting café where we enjoyed coffee and treats, then we walked to quite a few small food shops where we tasted various local delicacies, and at a bakery we were able to watch the making of baguettes! We finished the tour with a fantastic wine and cheese pairing where we were able to learn about French wines and cheeses. Isabel also walked us through different parts of Belleville including a beautiful park overlooking Paris and streets where we could witness a neighbourhood in transition. This tour opened our eyes to other parts of Paris; Belleville is not one we typically would have explored on our own. We were so happy to have had this experience!”
Delicious Foods Of Paris. Isabelle took us on a fantastic tour of Belleville in Paris! She was a passionate guide who had a lot of information to share about not only the food, but the history of Belleville itself. A good combination of strolling and eating, my friends and I had a great time. We tasted coffee, pastries, baguettes, various deli goods, cheeses and wine. The highlight for me was having access to the bakery to see baguettes in the making!
Thank you Isabelle.
A wonderful taste of Belleville ! After touring Belleville with Paris a Dream I could honestly say this is one of my new favorite areas of Paris. Isabelle’s tour included a “behind the scenes “visit at a bakery that makes some of the best breads and croissants in Paris. We also tasted our way through Belleville at an amazing Deli where we sampled delicious spreads, sliced sausages – all perfect for a picnic in Parc Belleville. And we ended with wine and cheese at a Cave. I was so smitten by this area that I returned the next day (a Saturday afternoon) with my teenage sons. We had lunch and then backtracked our way back to the coffee shop we went the day before for an afternoon snack. I also discovered a wonderful old bookshop where we could have spent hours! This is not a typical touristy tour of Paris. This is a real taste of Paris and one of it’s most unique neighborhoods!
